Hacienda La Carrera in El Salvador is an exemplary plantation with cocoa tree varieties that are over a hundred years old. So it follows that a family of cocoa trees that have spent such a wealth of time on earth do deserve a long name: the cocoa bean is rightfully called trinitarios finos de Aroma y criollo.
Its exceptional notes are felt - in length AND in strength - and they really pull you downwards, towards the ground with gorgeous earthy notes. The end result is the most delicious, chocolatey-chewey bar we've tasted to date.
Origin: Hacienda La Carrera in Jiquilisco, Usulutan in El Salvador - Single Origin

Cocoa bean, organic cane sugar, cocoa butter.
