Please read this carefully. By submitting an order on this website you are agreeing to our terms and conditions in full.
General
This website is operated by Land Chocolate Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”). All purchases made on this website are governed by these terms and conditions.
We sell goods to end-user consumers only. All goods are sold subject to the condition that they will not be re-sold or otherwise circulated without our prior written consent.
Ordering
Once payment has been received we will confirm acceptance of your order via email. Our acceptance brings into existence a legally binding contract to supply the goods in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Please fill out the order form fully and accurately. We cannot be held responsible for any problems that arise from incorrect information being supplied to us during your order. Costs related to re-delivery or forwarding on to another address are the sole responsibility of the customer.
The right of withdrawal of 8 days does not apply to contracts for the supply of perishable foods.
If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you via email.
Amendments or cancellations cannot be made once the order has been dispatched,
Shipping / delivery
June 2020: Our delivery charges have changed to better reflect the actual cost of carriage incurred by us. This may mean a slight increase in your shipping costs.
We always aim to get your order to you as soon as possible, however, please be aware that due to COVD-19, delivery times are being affected.
Orders are usually dispatched within three working days.
Next day delivery is only guaranteed for orders placed before 12.00 GMT the previous day, Monday to Thursday, within the UK mainland and does NOT include weekends.
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from us which includes a tracking number / link.
It is the customer’s sole responsibility to be present for delivery. Please keep track of your order using the tracking link provided.
International Orders
Before placing an order destined for a country outside the UK it is the customer’s sole responsibility to check with each destination country if any Customs charges, extra requirements &/or restrictions, such as COVID-19, might be in place.
Once the order has dispatched, the customer is solely responsible for any extra Customs charges, taxes, fees, levies, requirement and/or restrictions such as COVID-19, that may be applicable.
Payment & Pricing
Orders must be paid for in full before they can be dispatched.
Prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds and include VAT (20%).
If your payment requires currency conversion, the amount debited will be based on the exchange rate on the day of the debit and any charges from the card-issuing bank.
Prices are subject to change.
The price of the goods does not include the cost of delivery. The delivery charge is calculated automatically and is shown to you as you input your address before finalising your order.
Refunds/ Returns
We cannot be held responsible for our products if they were purchased from other retailers. Such issues should be taken directly to the retailer from whom the purchase was made.
If you purchase directly from us via this website, please check your order within 48 hours of receiving it and notify us of any problems immediately including any supporting evidence.
